MY REFLECTION ON NEW MEDIA
Our lesson this past few days is all about New Media. As our teacher discussed this topic, I've figured out the different forms and characteristics of New media. I already know its importance and how to become literate in using it.
Based on my understanding,there are several ways to described New Media, it can be characterize as electronic, computer and technology. New media can also be called 'digital', it is a 21st century used to define all that is related to the technology. Some examples include the internet,blogs,podcasts,websites,feeds,text messages,broadcasts,video games and more.
New Media is a form of communication that can be used in information dissemination and social interaction. You can get information instantly through surfing in the internet. This modernity can probably help young people especially students to get information easily using any digital devices of new media which include mobile phone,computer or tablet that has internet connection
New media can also be defined as an interactive form of communication. It enables the people to share their thoughts and ideas. It can help to socialize with other people through social media such as facebook,twitter,instagram and etc.
As a user of new media I encourage people to become responsible and literate in using it, because this can help us in our daily lives to make our tasks faster and easier and it can also help us to become networkable,skillful and knowledgeable.
